Chief Engineer/Operations Manager
We are hiring a Chief Engineer/Operations Manager to run a large retail development at the Gateway Mall - a Starwood Property in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Position Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to assisting in the operation, maintenance and repair of the central HVAC systems and related electrical and plumbing systems through operational and maintenance duties. Additionally, this position is accountable for contributing to the general maintenance of the shopping center structures, furnishings, equipment,common area and grounds. Candidate must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while being proactive with preventative maintenance of the building, systems, grounds, etc. Since most work is conducted in the public’s view; candidate must represent the retail center in a positive manner while working as a team or as an individual.
Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently lift up to 50pounds waist high or 40 pounds chest high, ability to reach above shoulder height, ability to reach to floor by bending at the waist or kneeling, ability to bend over or squat down, ability to work in winter weather shoveling snow and/or salting and ability to operate power equipment.
- Performance of these duties requires broad mechanical, maintenance, electrical and plumbing knowledge normally obtained through vocational courses with certifications and/or 2-3 years of general maintenance experience.
- Certification as a Universal Technician for CFCs.
- Set schedules weekly, but must be flexible based upon job demands and be on call for emergency demands.
- Must be willing to carry a cell phone, and possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Compensation: Entry level wage negotiable based on experience.
